Subject: Crank Bearings - Non-Availability
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Recently there was a thread on lack of availability of main bearings and maybe even rod end bearings (Crank-throw end). Is this really the case? I want to build a special engine and the bearings thread and the heads discussion going on with Ron Salmon and Robert Lilley has raised visions of my engine with all the parts ready to go but no bearings available. Is this going to kill off the wasserleaker? Am I going to be forced to do an engine swap because of non-availability of a fairly simple part? I had much rather upgrade the engine I have...I think it is well balanced for the vehicle.... than to do a swap. The thought of not being able to get simple parts is a little scarey.

Can anyone re-assure me with good news??
