Don't think it can't be the radio... My 83 had a aftermarket whizbangwhatever tapedeck installed and in about a week, it would drain the battery deader than a doornail... even 'turned off'. I finally pulled the unit looked at the wiring and said the heck with it. I will be putting something in that I wire and makes sense to me.
