Hi Ben,

My '91 Multivan has a built plate from Westfalia. I think that means that the unit was given to Westfalia as an "incomplete vehicle" and the finished by Westy. That seems a little extravagant to just add to the model mix. Since I don't want to haul the kitchen stuff when not camping 40 weeks a year, the base camper is my ideal. As for resale and value retention, I'm glad mine says "Westfalia" on it and not those other badges.
