<P>to all list meembers--especially those in the northeast!! My poor 84 GL vanagon has finally let go.. It runs like a champ but the selector shaft on the transmission (you know the star cog that the shift rods all connect to?) has finally worn out.&nbsp; I NEED A TRANNY!!!
