Subject: starting after replacing glow plugs
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi

I just changed the glow plugs on my '82 diesel Vanagon. It has been sitting for about two months without being run here in Virginia. After getting the glow plugs in, is there any precautions or things I need to do? I tried to turn her over but the battery was a little weak so it is charging right now. Does the injection pump need primed, etc? I am not sure I am getting any fuel yet. I would also like to change the fuel filter soon. Is there anything I need to look out for here also?

many thanks in advance!!!

Jim
