(that was two questions) No. No. That was two short versions...the best idea anyone has had yet was submitted by your humble correspondent, who suggested installing manual bleed valves at the 50% and 25% levels. He swiped this idea from Canadian Rail (or whatever it's called) who use it to measure how much water they have in some big tank in their (diesel-electric) locomotives, and who made the mistake of telling Dick Francis about it so that he could marvel in print (_The Edge_, read it).
