When I bought my Vanagon the P.O. had butchered the wiring to the stereo so badly I had to take it to a car stereo shop to get it sorted out. That was when I discovered the fact that there was no ACC position on the ignition. The guy at the shop wired the power line to a switched power source at my request because I consider it a hassle to turn my stereo on every time I get in and off every time I get out. I need a soundtrack for my existence so I'm seldom without music if it is an option. John McLean |
