Thanks to everyone for the great advice. It seems that about half said to just twist the bars and the other half said to remove them and the tray at the hinge they make. turns out that on the 86 Westy, the latter was the way to do it. Thanks again. The new radiator and upper/lower hoses are on. Just burbing the baby to get all the air out now. Karl 86 Westy GL being sold to a list member
