Greetings! I have been off the list for a 18 months or so, but still working away on my 87 Wolfsburg. My son and I exchanged the engine ( Fast German Auto longblock) last week, and I replaced the air flow meter with a new one from Bus Depot. When the engine warms up, I have a pulsation in the idle of 100-200 RPM. The idle switch is engaging, TII sensor is only a year or so old. When I disconnect the idle stab. valve, the pulsating stops. Any clues? Thanks in advance, Chris 87 Vanagon 99 New Beetle Turbo ( but I don't get to drive it!) 64 Dodge Dart (quit whinging about the WasserBoxer-this has leaks the Vanagon only dreams of) 72 Karmann Ghia ( air cooled rules!) |
