Well, I seem to have become the resident ASI expert...

Components:  All standard off-the-shelf American RV stuff.
Replacements are available from most any RV supply (Camping World and
the like.)

Thermostat: Might have a propane powered forced air furnace like mine.
 ASI typically used Coleman products on the propane side and they are
out of production.  I replaced mine with a Hydro-flame furnace after I
melted the wiring. (Don't ask...)  Thermostat means that I can go out,
turn it on and in about twenty minutes have a 75 deg F interior temp
when it's twenty deg. F outside. However, I do have a CO problem
operating it while driving.  We'll work on that after it warms up in
the spring.  Parked, it works just fine.

Personally, I like the ASI top better than the Westy top.  I like the
Westy interior lay-out better though.  The floor plan on my '77 has
very little storage and absolutely no space when the bed's out.
