Subject: The Project Advances, fan shroud wanted
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Well, I found out that the line from the clutch master cylinder is different from standard brake lines (althoug it shares the same fluid reservoir), but at least the flange is the same as brake line flanges. I took the broken piece to The Bug Shop (Delta, B.C.) and they fabricated a new line for me. Now to install it and charge the system and bleed both brakes and clutch system. I wanted to get this all done this week while I took a week off for vacation, so then I get the 'flu and am in bed for 2 days! If I'm up tomorrow (Friday) I plan to install the clutch line.

I wanted to get the radiator in as well, but the fan shroud was dented in the accident and the fan won't turn as it catches on the shroud.. I need to either bang out the fan shroud so it is roughly a circle, or acquire a new fan shroud. Does anyone have one from a parting-out job? I don't need the radiator, just the fan shroud.

Thanks,

Derek <><
