hey volks,

well, i (again) have decided to sell my '85 westy. i had this for sale a
couple months back and changed my mind. anyway, i just had the engine
completely gone over (new valves, etc. - heads done about a year ago), new
power steering pump, new fuel pump, new front ball joints, new kyb shocks
all around. within the last year and a half it also has had a new clutch,
tires, canvas (3 screen type) and i'm sure i'm forgetting something. this
westy is in excellent mechanical shape, runs and drives great, and the temp
always stays just below the light. the body is in near perfect condition and
still has the stock metallic brown paint in great shape. this westy is
completely rust free and has always been! the only reason i say near perfect
is that the mirrors and bumper end caps are a bit faded and the poptop seal
could likely be replaced, but doesn't leak. the interior is in great shape
and is completely stock. no rips or tears in the seats but the soft dash has
the typical california cracks from the heat. all the camping stuff is there
and in great shape including the optional single middle seat and a reimo
side awning.
