Derek,

Run away before it is too late! You still have time before the monkey climbs on your back and has its way with you. Lurking is OK, but the underbelly of a Vanagon is an unsavory place to spend the rest of your life. If you are married, your wife will end up loving the Vanagon and hating you. Do not be too concerned about that; she will always need you to keep the van running.

Good luck and I am sure you will do just fine. After all, one of the things dreaded by Vanagon owners is removing the dash to replace the blower motor and you have had yours out already.

Rich
