The heater core is inside the big heater box which is under/forward of the dash.

Is it turned on? There's a little lever on the right-hand side -- pointing forward is ON. There's also a white bleed screw on top of the core by the valve assembly. My experience is that the front heater keeps your feet warm and the rear one keeps the cabin warm...
