Subject: My experience with S&S Headers
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

I have been selling S&S Header for a couple of years now. My experience with them has been mostly positive. I would say, once every six months I'll have a customer that will have a problem with the system, most of the time it is something that can be fixed by the mechanic that is installing the system and is not a major problem. When the problem does come up and the customer wants to return a system, they return it to me and then I can either proptly return thier money or trade the system in on a OE setup. I have installed several of these systems on customers vans and I have one on my van. I have not had any problems installing them.

The quality and fit of the S&S system are good. I would say the quality and fit of the OE exhaust is only very good (they are only plain steel and sometimes don't fit perfect either). For the Syncro owner the price difference of the two systems is the real selling point. A OE setup runs around $600 while this system is around $280.

I sell these systems for $280 for the whole shebang plus shipping (if you buy directly from S&S you will pay $300 plus a high shipping charge from them). I also repack them before I send them to customers (they don't put very much packing materials in the boxes). And you have the benefit of getting the customer support from me here at Van-Again instead of trying to get ahold of the folks at S&S (I mean I buy many systems at one time from them and I still have a hard time getting them on the phone). So why would you want to buy your system from S&S directly?
