One way all you windows users can protect your self is to dump Microsoft Outlook as your personal email. I recommend a program called "the bat" from www.ritlabs.com. It is cheap $35 for private use, small and fast. It handles multiple email accounts much better than outlook (seperate inboxes for each account) and IT DOESNT RUN THE LATEST WINDOWS VIRUSES.

FWIW, I use mutt (www.mutt.org) my inbox is currently 92MB cuz I'm to lazy to clean it out and this program flies!
