I received the same solicitation.  I figured it was due to the fact that
some time ago I put my name on a list via their website to be notified of
product offerings.  Perhaps I also told them what vehicles I owned, for
the quoted price for the engine conversion package was for a Syncro
Vanagon (since sold).
