You must have a 1.9 engine to get that far! You certainly have taken good care of it. I got 220,000 out of my 1.9 before retiring it for excessive oil consumption, but the heads were done twice. It wasn't leaking though, and there was no evidence of corrosion when I disassembled it.

The reason I say do both is that you have to drain the coolant and remove the entire exhaust system to get one head off. After you have done all that it doesn't take that much more time to pull the other head and fix it too. I think you also have to buy the gaskets as a set for both sides, and they are not cheap.

You would really kick yourself if it started leaking on the other side after a few thousand miles and spending several hundred dollars you would have spend again.
