Hi Volks,

I noticed a "swamp" cooler at an A/C shop in SandyEggo. 12VDC. Evaporative cooler. MUCH less energy draw than an AC compressor. I'll look up the manufacturer. The AC shop was Griffin. Maybe Mark D. knows em.

This unit was about the size of a portapottie and seemed to work really well. Just the thing for dry climates. Not so good for Houston.
