Well, it is a exact copy of the VW Special tool that is pictured in the Bentley Manual - there are lots of VW geeks out there who think that is the cat's meow! You can also trouble shoot CIS based systems as well where you need to test the system pressure and regulated pressure. You are a list member get rid of a few of these! :)

Other than that... there is no real advantage between the NAPA special and the VW 1318 when it comes to a fuel rail based FI system.

David, can you tell us what advantages your fuel pressure gauge has over just any old pressure gauge from the hardware store?
