I guess one other thing that I forgot. Most generic fuel pressure gauges stop at 50 to 60 PSI - the fuel pump on your Vanagon can produce pressures over 100 PSI if you test it's direct operating pressure. The stock fuel pump is more than capable of running CIS-Motronic systems from the Audi 80 which need about 85 PSI to run... just a safety concern as I would not want to see a pump explode or anything like that due to too much pressure.

David, can you tell us what advantages your fuel pressure gauge has over just any old pressure gauge from the hardware store?

Thanks, Bill
