I hate to do this, but I need a vehicle that I can drive year 'round. Fuzzy starts fine in the cold weather, but I just don't like driving a 17 year old camper through the snow and ice.

Here are the vitals: '84 Vanagon Westfalia Fully camperized (stove, sink, 3-way fridge) 1.9L engine runs great (knock on wood!) 171 000 kms (107 000 miles) Brand new Michelin LTX tires All camping equipment works 100% Canvas top in excellent shape 4 speed manual tranny Light blue paint (smurf blue among friends) Have manuals and receipts from original owner Recent work done: New CV boot; 4 new front ball joints;

Here's the deficiency list: Needs new pop top May need new clutch (feels a bit funny once everything is warmed up) Needs new control rod for the front heater valve. I changed the valve, but neglected to change the control rod (stupid me) Showing some seam rust. Previous owner did a bit of painting on it, so the rust may be a bit worse than it looks, but I don't know. Every once and a while the speedo stays at 0 (like once a month). The odometer keeps rolling though, and the speedo comes back to life when you hit around 80 km/h

Price: I have advertised it for $7000 (Canadian) in the local paper, but will sell it for a less to the list members. Will also consider trades for a Volvo sedan or wagon. Please respond privately with questions.
