Subject: Source for BIG BORE PISTONS AND CYLINDERS for the WBX!!!
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

I was looking in the February 2001 Hot VWs Magazine and on page 120 I saw a source for 95 mm big bore pistons and cylinders.

I know they are not much bigger than the stock 94 BUT, the compression ratio might be increased along with the bore increase to further increase power. AND it is a start...

The only engine block difference between the 112 HP WBX and 90 HP WBX is the different sized dish in the pistons.

The company is: AA Automotive Products 415-752-2075

email: aaautoproducts@aol.com

Maybe a list purchase can be done for those that plan a rebuild.

I would like to have no part in the purchase other than telling of a source.

I see in the adds that other companies are now carrying WBX engine parts and Vanagon parts.

Robert
