I' know my corvairs myself, for owning four 1966's myself. I guess those days prepared my for the vanagon days of today. I didn't think, or I forgot, there were Corsa styles sold after the 65/66 years? I guess there were, but 140 engines only. I drove the 140 and the 180. I never did feel that turbo was ever working right. The real comparison is the parts for both are expensive and it was and still is always something going wrong with them. (just glad the push rod tube seals work better on the vanagon. Brian Cochran 84 westy. I also have 2 vanagons 1985 gl and 1990 carot. they are really fun to drive but hard to maintain. I really only like the 1966 to 1969 model corvair and 1985 thru 1991 model vanagons. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com |
