They may fit, but I'd be concerned about the weight difference between the model years. Wasn't the '84 air cooled? If so the springs for the '91 would be alot stiffer. Does anyone know if all of the front and rear coil springs are compatable from 84' to 91'? According to volkswagen literature, the late models were about 30 mm shorter, but I'm wondering if they are a direct swap. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
