People of Vanagon! I just got my 1991 Westy Syncro back from Dan at Louis Foreign Car in Seattle, and I must say that I am quite pleased. He was a real nice guy and I left feeling like I honestly got a good deal. I basically gave him a blank check to catch me up on all the things I have been neglecting under the van as well as redo the heads/gaskets on both sides. The price was quite reasonable, and he didn't do anything unnecessarily. And as a bonus, he didn't break anything, back into anything, strip anything, or loose any parts (I hope the service manager at Carter VW is listening). Get this, he even showed me all of the old parts! On a side note: when I picked up and dropped off my Van his garage had another syncro westy, a nice looking carat, and a ev inside. He seems to see his share of T3's. For what it's worth. Dan Louis Foreign Car 206 524 3366 Robyn |
