At these prices for a Syncro Westy, Sportsmobiles ( http://www.sportsmobile.com/ ) begin to look pretty darn good. Also, plenty of power, the fuel hoses are likely to all be in fine shape, parts affordable and available in those middle-of-nowhere places one would go in a 4-wheel drive camping machine. I am by no means shooting the messenger here, just pissed at VW for dropping the ball in '91. And I hear those new turbo-diesels in the Fords will pull a mountain at 90 MPH all day long, and probably as good MPG as an overworked Wasserleaker. Not all that dirty, either. Ahh, retirement or riches, one of these daze... R ô¿õ o Antaki I don't find it hard to meet expenses. They're everywhere!
