I installed one of these on my camper right after I got it and recommend it. The only thing I didn't like was the way the shifter looked after adding the aluminum extension shaft. I tried covering it with black shrink tubing to match the stock shaft cover, but you still end up with a big bump where the extension threads on to the shaft. I ended up slipping a 21" piece of black 3/4" liquidtite conduit over the shaft before installing the shift knob to cover the shaft and hide the extension splice.
