This is the opposite of what you want.... the 'biting' is hard on the hoses and will cause them to fail sooner... The best clamps are stainless steel have flared edges so that they don't bit in at all... I believe Ken Wilfey includes them with his fuel hose replacement kit... I think they're swiss made.... I doubt you will ever find these at Pep-Boys...
