I can run Vinnie at 80 (4400-4500 ish RPM) long term with no major problems and he has seen 85 although not for very long. I just get weirded out cruising at 90% of max RPM for sustained periods. I usually cruise at 72 ish though to get MPG up a little higher. I figure the engine should last longer running 80% load (4200 rpm and 72-75 mph). Cheers, Dave C.
