I wouldn't know. Never drove it for extended lengths of time at 60 or less. My 84 likes to run between 72 and 80 (real, not indicated) I get 16 MPG in the winter, 20 in the summer (gas factor I thinks).

I like to keep it at 72 for the sake of the motor life.
