Carl,

What kind of head unit do you have, and do you find reception OK? I have a 98 Golf with the factory stereo with a Fuba, and a Blaupunkt in the Vanagon with an antenna that has been broken off and is currently held together with a drill bit (DPO's fix). The van gets better reception!

Just wondering if you noticed a difference with the amplified Fuba. Also, what did you use to lug the antenna hole? If I do this, I think I'll wait until I get the van painted and cover over the hole.
