Personally,

I would hesitate before giving up my stock antenna for the Fuba. VW cleverly designed the antenna's height to be level with the uppermost portion of the van and this has saved me more than once in parking garages, car ports and other tight spots. If the antenna strikes the garage, I'll stop immediately and back up to avoid crunching the Westy's precious fiberglass top. Something to consider...
