Subject: Adventurewagen has been picked up...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

To any who were/are interested in the whereabouts of my donated '82 Adventurewagen (there were a few), it was finally picked up today by the tow company. I signed off on the title and have mailed off my "Release of Liability" form to the DMV. It is definitely bound for a vehicle auction, and the tow truck driver even expressed some interest in bidding on it when he came to pick it up.

Anyway, for what it's worth:

The towing company is Express Towing, phone# 415-740-9366.

The auction will be held somewhere here in the SF Bay area, but I have no details about it.

I can't help any further than this, so please don't ask. It's now out of my hands. I have no idea if it's possible for anyone to get advance information about buying the van, but I'm providing the contact info in case anyone wants to attempt it.

I'm sorry to have had to get rid of the camper. 15 years and a trip to Alaska made parting with it somewhat difficult, but it was impractical to keep it.

Dan
