Subject: Was: Bus Depot Discount? Now: Non-Starting '84
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Thanks to Ron and all who replied about the discount.

Looking forward to placing my first of what will probably be many orders with BD for a Bentley which will hopefully help me figure out why my newly aquired '84 Westy will. not start.

On the subject of my non-starting '84:

Puchased vehicle about two weeks ago 300 miles from home. Vehicle displayed some symptoms of hard starting at time of purchace but the price was right (or so I thought) so I figured I'd take a chance on it. Vehicle ran well all the way home and took just about a tank of gas to do so, which I thought was about right for a 300 mile trip. Upon getting home I parked the Van for about a week before I was able to get back to it. Now when I try to start it, it will crank over and come close to starting but not do so. It has a new distributor cap and plug wires. The weather here has been in the 30's and low 40's. I'm thinking the problem is somewhere in the fuel injection system but thats really just an uneducated guess on my part at this point. Any tips on how to proceed so as to get this poor creature going again would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks; Rod.
