The RV stores sell those square 12V lights with switches on them for about 10 bucks. You could also get those 'Tap Lights' that are on TV. They use double A batteries and can be stuck anywhere. The RV lights work great, I did one in my old westy, but are a bit oversized looking in the back of the westy. If your really ambitious you can pull down the headliner that runs down the side of the camper and cut holes and install stock VW interior lights. The holes are in the body, you just need to run wires and cut the headliner. GM makes a nifty light that mounts in the engine compartment of the their trucks. It pulls double duty as a engine light or a flashlight. Its hard wired to the truck, but it has about 20 feet of wire that comes out if you need to change a tire at night or see other places (underneath). Food for thought. -- -Jim DiGennaro '84 Green Westfalia 'The Turtle Van', '90 Jetta (Brides car) '92 Scamp Trailer 'The Turtle's Egg' ICQ# 5534528 LiMBO LINE: (413) 743-1814 URL: http://www.bcn.net/~limbo
