folks, to everyone who told me (a) you can't tell by the G, (b) the location of the gas tank filler on passenger side rear, and (c) who asked if i could go by and make a first hand report:

(a) ok, so you can't...but as i stated, the carfax report says this is a 4wd. all others i've looked at have been 2wd, as advertised.

(b) i know that's where it is (i've seen a lot of pictures while researching the whole purchase thing lately), and the only picture i've seen of the car is of the *driver's* side.

(c) i am in california. the car is in pennsylvania. hence my push towards those of you local to the car.

finally, the carfax report doesn't list anything horrid, just looks like it was moved around a bit or retitled. if i get a chance i will recheck what it said.

sorry if i caused people pain, or came off as if i knew too much about the car. i just know what we all know from the ad, and what i gleaned from the vin and carfax report.

hope someone gets it the van!

bill
