The jetta manifolds and such will not fit (well) in the vanagon If you have a pump that doen't have the "high idle" linkage the van lever *should* fit. line up that slot on the shaft to give a base location. you will need the pump from the jetta with its aneroid for the boost enrichment. If you have a metal engine lid the cross brace will need to be cut out to clear the bigger "turbo" pump. the 85 and later plastic lids have a bigger "hole" in the foam than do that 93-84's and clear the pump..almost..under hard acceleration in reverse the engine "torques" enough that the pump contacts the lid..no BIG deal.. Also..WILDLY recommend that installation of the "air cooled" vanagon gearbox when installing the TD.. Err that should be the big stuff...
