Hey, I always thought these things were fake, but I have first hand knowledge of this one. It did not happen in Dahlonega. It happened here in Ringgold, Georgia at a U.S. Military Rifle Range/Gunnery Training Area. The cadets were spending the weekend and were going to get to wargame with the big boys. The kids were getting restless in the barracks and were apparently doing the normal horseplay and some to hand to hand fake combat. Things got out of hand, to put it mildly. The poor kid was wearing a kevlar vest, and his buddy apparently did a bayonet attack. It went right through. My volunteer fire department answered the call. Poor kid bled to death quickly. How would you like to have tell his mom.
