Don't ..as it is the pump, at an idle does NOT flow the water through the

prolonged idling might casue it to over heat...

 heat/cavitation issue with the waterpump is moot though. >>
Until it eats through the back of the pump and leaks your coolant all over
the ground..Range Rovers are now doing the same thing..'cept THEIR coolant
goes right in the sump
!!!!
