Vanagon chop-top !!!!!

This was also done by the VW factory at Hanover in April 1968 when Dr Heinz
Nordhoff died.  They took a brand new1968 de luxe microbus (or "Clipper" as they
were then known) from the production line and cut everything off from the
waistline up and only left the windscreen standing.  Nordhoff's flower bedecked
coffin was then transported in style for the funeral procession through the
streets of Wolfsburg in the back of this very special topless VW Type 221
hearse.  However, this particular convertible was not very convertible because
it had no soft top to erect if it rained.
