Oh my word.... I cannot believe the prices..If you REALLY want to do this go tot he VW dealer and see about a factory rebuilt engine. it's gunna be bucks but it's "plug and play" Unless the heads are totally eaten up by ingesting coolant, than they should be re-usable..some pitting on the gasket surface is fine..use like "super" grey silicone and it won't leak. it is possible that the first shop used a "click type" torque wrench and didn't get the heads tight.. discuss this with the your VW specialist and ask about him/her re-torquing them...it's a chance that's worth taking IMHO steve "Hey! nice Jeep, Mister!
