Subject: Help Audi Cabrio Gremlins (No vanagon Content)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Well, my wifes 97 Audi Cabrio has some electrical gremlins that I can't figure out. I checked with the Audi Fans site but no response. I don't think they work on there own cars..... Anyways, here's the deal. All of these problems are random. The tranny (auto) will not shift from park to reverse. Yes, the brake petal is fully depressed. The car must be restarted to reset. This has been dangerous since I live on a busy street and back into trafic to get out of the driveway. The light is always flashing for the conv. top and sometimes does not go up or down. The radio turns on by itself when the car is unoccupied.......

Any info would be appreciated. I need a starting point. I told her we could always sell and buy another Westy...

Thanks Jim

97 Audi Cabrio 85 Westy 69 Suzuki Titan
