What is if there is any secret to getting this to come out ?

While pushing in on the table top, I sprayed a little WD-40 using the thin straw-like nozzle as near to the latch as possible. After it popped open with repeated pushes I realized that there had been some gunk built up in the latch. After cleaning and lubricating....no problems for four or five years now.

Can't let this be...someone wrote (not cjruss@GIS.NET):

For me, reacting with brute force more often has created bigger problems than just thinking about the problem and then acting.

Really glad the velcro works; really SAD that anybody (especially on this list) would stoop to littering our waterways because of a fit of rage. Just my humble opinion. No flame intended.
