We're heading off to Europe for a vacation and plan to take my Notebook Computer
along so I can get my Vanagon List fix :-)


I have a power cord adapter that plugs into a standard North American Cigarette
Lighter outlet (and into aircraft power outlet) but as I recall, the Vanagon
comes with a different Cigarette Lighter outlet size and that got me thinking.


Does anyone know if the standard on European vehicles is different from North
America vehicles? Has anyone else faced a problem with using power adapters on
European vehicles? Will I have to buy/make yet another adapter-adapter?
