Ben,

Thank you for the re-assurance.

I bought my vehicle at 114,000km ( about 71,000 miles) and immediately flushed the cooling system and refilled it only with the proper G11 coolant. At 120,000km one head was leaking very slightly. So, it was out with the motor and all studs (one was very slightly corroded), seals, hoses, coolant, water pump, etc were replaced as was the coolant once more, The offending head need only very slight machining. She goes beautifully now. I change oil every 5,000km and filters every 10,000km. I only use 20W60 oil as conditions get quite hot here. (We are hot, balmy and love the local swimming pool every day at the moment and always look for a shady spot to park the car in - while, I suppose you are shivering!)
