Before anyone gets too excited about Chris' fuel mileage, note that in Aus (and Canada as well) that's a UK gallon.

His fuel mileage in US gallons is 20.2 mpg.

This drove me nuts when I first got my Golf, because in Canada, all fuel consumption figures are first given in l/100 km, then mpgUK. I couldn't figure out why I was getting such terrible gas mileage compared to the Cdn specs (because of course, I used a US gallon). I have a spreadsheet that does all the calculations for me in any unit I want now. Doh.
