I hope we keep this thread in perspective.... (maybe kill it). I've been going back and forth to Canada for over thirty years and love every minute that I'm in Canada. Fantastic country and people. No better neighbors ANYWHERE!

I've never been stopped or hasseled by the Canadian side but have on three occasions coming back to the U.S. Two times they emptied my V.W. of all its contents and then just left it on the ground in a big mess. No smiles, no thank you's,.. nothin. Just jerks plain and simple. I believe what we have here on both sides of the border is a certain kind of "personality" who is attracted to this kind of authority position. They get to carry a gun and use their power on people. This is what I call "wantabe cops" who otherwise can't get on a large professional law enforcement department. All we can do is keep our mouths shut and move on. I sure plan to keep going north to Canada and won't allow some bozo's to ruin my life.
