ok, i am hot on the trail of a canadian syncro westy. i understand the only things to bring it into us conformance are a lens that says "brake" (emergency brake, i believe) and a us mph speedometer.

forgive my ignorance, but besides pulling the items from a dead vanagon, where can these be purchased? and, can one reset the mileage of the donor speedometer so it matches the number of kilometers the van has been driven?

tia. bill (maybe that '87 westy syncro?)
