Hi All

well get this. I have been thru various replacement and tuning expenses trying to solve performance problems. replaced muffler, O2 sensor, fuel filter, valve adjustment and lots of head scratching..... The good news is that I needed all those parts anyway but in the end it was the nut/cap for the CO test port on my exhaust system which is right before the catalytic converter. It seems this rusted and leaking slightly. my van was making more noise during acceleration but no noticeable difference at idle..... finally on a test ride up to lake tahoe the top of the cap blew off..... I just replaced it and now the van is runnning great. I figure a slight amount of air was getting into the system and causing the 02 sensor to richen the mixture.......

Duh!!!!!! I guess my troubleshooting skills could be better,

thanks to all those that offered help on the list

Ed :-)
